Leadership

Pastor Terrance Bridges

Dr. Terrance A. Bridges, Sr. is the founder and lead pastor of [RE]Church Charlotte.  As a scholar and teacher, Dr. Bridges is a graduate of Taylor University, holding a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries with minors in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. He subsequently completed his M.A. in Executive Development.  Followed by doctoral studies in Christian Education leadership and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies.  His terminal degrees include an Educational Specialist degree and Doctorate of Education.

His experiences in ministry range from children and youth ministry, worship and arts, young adult ministry to congregational life and Christian Education leadership.   He began serving in a ministerial capacity at the age of 13, at the time one of the youngest music directors and worship leaders in several national and international conferences.  At 15, Dr. T’ was licensed to preach.  As a teen, Bridges led various ministries in worship at regional, national, and international gatherings.  His ministry style (praying, praise/worship, and preaching/teaching) now bridges the gap between different ethnicities, cultures, styles of music, denominations, and generations.   His zeal and passion remain strong and have become refined through 25+ years of experience in the ministry. While his interests vary, his primary passion remains to be a loving husband to his wife and support to their children while forcefully and powerfully advancing the message of Jesus Christ and His kingdom.

Pastor Angela Bridges

Pastor Angela Bridges is fueled by her passion for the presence and purpose of God to be manifest in her life and those whom she ministers.  As an emerging voice of spiritual leadership in the modern church, she is committed to fulfilling her Kingdom assignment of evangelism and intercession.  She has worked in several ministerial capacities locally and internationally including but not limited to administrative leadership, global missions and relief efforts, along with youth and young adult ministry.

Locally, she has served as an associate pastor and as an extension of the pastoral team of Rechurch Charlotte.  Statewide, she has served as a Global Missions Director for the Illinois State Council of Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International, Inc (PCAFI). Internationally, she has served as an administrative support on the Global Missions board for the PCAFI.  Her passion for evangelism has motivated her involvement and extensive travels to five continents and multiple countries.

Professionally she has used her faith and gift of communication in the classroom as a Religious Studies teacher as well as past work as a correspondence administrator and communications personnel for key political figures who have held the highest offices in our nation.

All of this would be of little value if it were not for the primary motivation and infusion of her faith in her family life.  As a mother of a blended family, she counts motherhood as her chief duty and joy.  She uses her responsibilities, role, and voice to build upon a legacy of faith for generations that are yet to come.  Her writing manifests out of this passion.  In everything, it is her desire that God be glorified, and people be encouraged to know Him.
